South African sensation Tyla has made the difficult decision to cancel her highly anticipated inaugural world tour just two weeks before its scheduled start.

In a statement shared on her Instagram page, Tyla cited the need to fully recover from a worsened injury that she has been battling for the past year. Despite undergoing medical treatment, the musician emphasized the severity of her condition.

Expressing deep regret, Tyla explained that the injury, which has deteriorated over time, leaves her unable to proceed with the tour. Although she did not provide specifics about the injury, she emphasized the risk to her long-term health and safety if she were to continue with any tour dates.

Originally slated to kick off on March 21 in Oslo, Norway, the Grammy winner expressed her gratitude to fans while acknowledging the disappointment caused by the cancellation. Patrons who purchased tickets for North American shows will receive refunds, while rescheduling arrangements are in progress for tour dates in the UK and Europe.
