The Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) has launched its applications portal for undergraduate and graduate local scholarship programs for the 2023/2024 academic year. Dr. Richard Boadu, the Administrator of GETFund, invites eligible candidates to apply for a variety of programs, providing financial assistance to support students pursuing Diploma, Higher National Diploma (HND), and Degree programs.

Prospective applicants are encouraged to visit the GETFund website (https://getfund.scholarshipsplatform.com) to complete the online application. Dr. Boadu emphasizes the importance of following guidelines for a smooth application process and warns against fraudulence and misrepresentation, as well as the consequences of providing incorrect information.

The application window opened on December 20, 2023, and will close on January 31, 2024. Late applications will not be considered. Dr. Boadu outlines factors that could lead to automatic disqualification and advises applicants to ensure accuracy throughout the process.

Continuing students are reminded to indicate the entire duration of their program, and Dr. Boadu emphasizes the importance of correct spelling and proper documentation. The application process is free, and GETFund has no intermediaries. Any payments made to individuals or organizations related to this application process are at the applicant’s own risk.”
