Barcelona has reportedly agreed to sign 18-year-old left-back Oduro from Accra Lions. Oduro, born in 2006, had a successful trial at Barcelona earlier this year, and the club has been working to finalise his acquisition. Despite interest from other European clubs, Barcelona managed to secure the young defender’s signature.

Oduro was a regular starter for the Accra Lions at 17 and made a significant impact in Ghana. He has made 50 senior appearances for the club, demonstrating his defensive capabilities and contributing offensively with one goal and six assists. Oduro’s performances have drawn comparisons to Bayern Munich’s Alphonso Davies, known for his speed and versatility.

The transfer to Barcelona is a significant moment in Oduro’s career, as he is the first player from Ghana to join the Blaugrana directly. Previously, the young talent underwent trials at Chelsea earlier this year, but now his focus is on Spain. He is anticipated to strengthen Barcelona’s youth setup and further his development there.
